That’s my biggest worry. I’m allowing myself extra time to the gates mainly due to some folks not knowing how to pull out their electronic tickets.

I'm definitely a Hawaii fan tonight.

Vandy and their coach understand the importance of perception, and I think they know this is their only chance to have all eyes on them. It's a late window, but it is a window that is exclusive to them. They won't be competing with any other games, and it's one of the only games where they aren't the whipping post. This is a big opportunity for Vandy.

Vandy's QBs aren't great but they are both experienced, and one of them is mobile. They have all of their RBs back. Their offensive line is thin from a depth perspective but it's still an SEC OL with big size. They're huge compared to Hawaii, and they're healthy. Vandy has to break in new WRs, so I think they'll lean on their run game and control the game.

Hawaiis defense: very inexperienced, and replacing their top 10 tacklers.

Seems like a recipe for Vandy to play it safe on offense and just run, at least early.

Vandy's defense isn't terrible, especially compared to a lowly team like Hawaii, and they do have good LBs. They have returning experience. They didn't have a strong pass rush last year, and they don't have anyone returning or coming in that should change that.

Hawaii does have a good OL. They have some guys to replace at skill spots but they have weapons. They can put up points.

Could have Vandy coming out early and bullying Hawaii, then Hawaii finding their stride on offense and catching up at home, with a shot to upset.

I recently got a Blackstone griddle. It hit me this morning as I was frying some hash browns that I am a de-facto Waffle House now. With four kids I’m pretty much a short-order cook anyway. As part of this privilege, I will welcome any and all VN fights that do not need the full WH adjudication process. I do ask you bring beer so I can watch though.

I'll pull for the Mavs some though because Dirk was the man. Still remember his lone title where he singlehandedly took down the Miami Big 3. Greatest games of his career all in 1 series. He put it all out there.

Edit: nm saw your other post 😂 Mother grew up in Oak Ridge and went to HS there. Grandfather and grandmother moved there as the city was being constructed overnight moving from the Bronx. He was either an engineer or financial guy from what my mom/uncle can piece together but he NEVER talked about his work...don't think he was supposed to. The history behind that whole area is crazy.
