I would take all of those 5 stars with this staff simply because they can actually develop talent. Are you saying you wouldn’t take Chris Donald with him being coached by Rodney Garner? Richmond or Morris coached by our current offensive staff? Give me that option all day every day simply because you are at a high chance that they are good enough to get drafted.Nobody has ever claimed stars don’t matter…. You just stated that you would take 5* busts…. All that matters is how they perform on the field…. If we have the right staff then we will get talent… as the program grows then eventually… the talent that we sign will match the stars that you are craving… Currently, our coach has recruited a few lower rated players over higher rated players bc they feel like the lower rated player is better…. They seem to have a high hit % in recruiting so far…. I have 100% confidence in them.
I would probably buy an L zoom lens for the mirrorless than an adapter for my old 24-105 L f4.0 and my 50 f1.4 so that helps some on the cost. I like the Canon R7 to save money on the body and spend more on a 70-200 zoom that I’ve always wanted.Glass, glass, glass. I am in the same boat, if I go mirrorless I am going all in and you're talking 10k with lenses. I'd suggest to anyone start small and you can get a good 50mm lens for nothing. Fool around and see if you really are into it
That’s the allure for a mirrorless body for me. Much more compact and light like a point and shoot with all the features you need…unless you get a honkin zoom lens.I had about $5K in a Canon and lenses but I honestly miss my old Canon point and shoot more than the pro equipment. I felt connected to life and art with it. Pro equipment is amazing but cumbersome.
That's awesome.Think how great Tony Vols can recruit once the new Baseball Facility is finished next year

The cost of equipment is why it’ll always just be an expensive hobby. Even if you make money selling pictures, the per hour wage after you edit isn’t that good. I’d rather just not sell them and share for everyone’s enjoyment.Yep...and then you have to scout locations for different times of the day to get the light right....and then hope you have the right weather. I talked to some hobby photogs in Grand Teton NP one time at sunset on Signal Mountain...they told me they had been there in the spot at that time for several days to get the specific shot they wanted, and that the weather or clouds just had not co-operated.
It must be nice to be able to spend 15-20,000 dollars on Cameras and lenses and other apparatus...plus have enough free time or traveling money...or both.
Back in the 90s I worked for myself and me and my business partner set our own schedule so time wasn't an issue...and I made a lot of money.
And I was an idiot..
We are gonna go through all of our pics from the last six years and put the best ones on different size canvas prints and try to fill a whole wall in our living room. The cost of equipment is why it’ll always just be an expensive hobby.
