Looks like he was trying to win 1 million. The payout is right at it.

Any concerns at tailback? Numbers wise you guys are as thin as us, but do you like the guys that are there?

It's pretty much the same as your situation. The four RB's we have seem fine to me. But lose another one for the year, or get a couple dinged up with minor injuries, and then they'll start scrambling for more depth.

BALL STATE

Only 11 returning starters - 6 on offense, 5 on defense. Lose a 4 year starting QB and their all time best WR. Lose 5 of their top 6 tacklers from last year.

QB: Four year starter gone. Only 34 career pass attempts at this unit. Paddock should be starter. 5'11 196.

RB: they have a true soph RB named Steele that should be good this year. 6'1 225 averaged 4.6 ypc last year.

WR: decent unit this year but replacing their all-time leading receiver.

OL: return 7 of 10 OL that played last year. They gave up 25 sacks last year.

DL: return 8 of top 10 that played last year. Staff called it the strength of the team.

LB: they have a 7th year LB

DB: replacing 3 starters

ST: lose a great punter, lose good kickers, lose their best return man, lose their special teams coach of 7 years

Closest thing we have to a game thread. I do hope @nicksjuzunk is well in Thailand.

I'm still baffled at him standing completely still, completely flat-footed in the pocket.
And waving WRs to go deeper! I mean...waving WRs with his hand?? While standing flat-footed, all the time in the world?? If you have that much time, without leaving the pocket, to stare down one reciever long enough to not like where he's at, but to wave him somewhere else...SOMEONE else has LONG BEEN wide open, the 2nd or 3rd or 4th option. Not to mention, kid does not like contact, whatsoever.

With all that, I'm still not ready to say he can't play. TOO MUCH!!!, man!!!...TOO MUCH talent and potential to say that, just yet. I do believe if he can put it all together, Josh Heupel is only one of a handful in the country to get him there...Heupel above all others.
