I am really, really hoping our second is an easier baby than our first! He's a wonderful toddler now but was a very difficult baby. Terrible sleeper and just generally "intense." Very sensitive to everything and cried all the time.
My first one had colic. Cried constantly driving us nuts until it passed and that was about 4 weeks.

Our son cried all the time too but we later figured out that it was likely due to hunger, sleep deprivation, or both. We didn't realize how much he needed to eat/sleep for the first few months. We would also whisk him out of his bassinet the instant he started crying even though sometimes he was crying while asleep. So then he would be awake and pissed that we woke him up.

Apparently the shooter at VA had been investigated for a prior hazing incident. So much for the "he was bullied by the evil football players" narrative. This is an evil human. Let's not allow him to be portrayed as a victim.
The only people who paint a mass shooter as a victim have an agenda.

Would you stay at hotel fraye or Conrad in Nashville for the Vandy game?
Depends on if you're just going to the game or staying the weekend. For the game only, anything around the university will be pretty nice and walking distance. If you're staying for the weekend anything downtown would be better. I see people all the time staying around Vandy and walking down to Lower Broad and it is a hike to say the least it is a Uber deal for sure. Nothing downtown is inexpensive and they are usually booked. The Lowes Vanderbilt is nice and right across the street . Good Luck.

Looks like pee wee Herman there.

get them on as similar of sleep schedules as possible. we have a 3 month old and a 2 year old and the fact that they go to bed and wake up around the same time is a blessing for our sleep and sanity. We're huge on structure and schedule with both kids and getting a very strict sleep/eat schedule is how we have both kids sleeping 11-12 hours a night. both kids took about 2 months after being born for them to be sleeping 8+ hours a night uninterrupted. "moms on call" book was a big help with guidance on how to establish the schedule.

My baby girl (only child so far) is 2-months old today. Counting down the days until we can sleep through the night (whenever that may be). Would you say that the schedule helped your kids with beginning to sleep through the night without having to wake up to eat?

Live here so can’t speak to the rooms, but just knowing the little I do of where those are located you can’t go wrong with either. Both are walking distance to the stadium and both are right next to Midtown bars. I think Fraye is actually in the middle of the Midtown party scene. That area is mostly younger adults and college scene. Losers/winners and other fun bars around there. Both are also a really quick Uber or really long walk to Broadway. I will say the Conrad is in the same complex as Halls Chophouse and if you’re looking for a nice but expensive Friday night dinner that place is great. Not quite as good as the Charleston one but still really good. Either way, those two are both good options.

The all knowing Sports Writes. Look at this list, as you can see they aren't very good at their jobs but then again they don't have to be right they just have to be convincing. Believe it or not they have a say in one way or another in who goes to what Bowl and or Playoffs.........gives you a warm fuzzy doesn't it.

My advice on this is you look at how she's measuring. Our son was 90% on the weight/length chart and our doctor basically said "he's fine to sleep until he wakes himself up hungry" so around 3 months I had the night shift and rather than wake him up I let him sleep. I ended up waking him up around 6 hours then we did that for a week or two and then we just let him sleep as long as he wanted. He was good to sleep 8 hours a night from then on.

We didn't have a rigid set schedule, but we kept a routine. Before we'd lay him down we'd make sure he had his last bottle and a warm bath then fresh diaper. When we laid him in the crib though we didn't get him back out of the crib unless we were changing him or feeding him. He cried the first few weeks, but letting him "cry it out" was the thing to do. He's almost 9 now and still sleeps through the night without any issues.
