Sugar is technically simply SEC vs Big12. But practically speaking, it's SEC #3 because SEC 1 and 2 are in the playoffs.

If LSU beats GA, then the playoffs could take both over us: each of we three would be 1-1 against each over. Any way they do it will be "wrong" in a sense.

I think the Orange (not the Cotton) is the other big NY6 besides the Sugar we could possibly end up as a consolation prize. That would be SEC #3 vs ACC #1.

I think your point is fair, but it will still hurt to miss out.
