He’s making $11.5m/yr after new contract. He can walk into the playoffs every year at Clemson when it goes to 12. He’s beaten Bama 2x to win a NC.

What’s Bama gonna pay him at that point?

Bama has huge boosters and I don’t see them “settling”.

I think they try to make a home run hire soon as Saban gives it up.

It's insane how much Heupel has killed the expectations for new hires moving forward. 3 years is going to the max time coaches are afforded to get their program going or else they'll be canned. Fortunately the portal has made things easier but for programs like Scar - it's still going to be a 4-5 year process whether their fans want to accept it or not.

Real serious question. This question does not have to do with his coaching ability but his staying ability. His longest stay has been what 3 years somewhere? Whose to say after a couple of years he gets another offer at some West Coast school or some big North schools just for an example. When does the trust value come in with a track record that he has. Can't imagine trying to land a huge position job with my record of three years at any place I worked. Just amazed I guess that schools finally don't just say hey we need someone we can trust to stay for a long time. Just throwing this out for discussing.
Exactly. And to this point, Ole Miss might be the only place he has left better than what it was when he arrived. He is a high risk to staff longevity and stability and I think Auburn would be stupid to hire him.

Tennessee Full Game -22

Full Game Points Total 66.5

Tennessee Total Points 44.5

Tennessee 1st Half -13

1st Half Points Total 34.5

Tennessee 1st Half Points 23.5

Tennessee 2nd Half -8.5

2nd Half Total Points 32.5

Tennessee 2nd Half Points 20.5

Tennessee 1st Quarter -6.5

1st Quarter Total Points 14.5

Tennessee 1st Quarter Points 11.5

Eyeing Tennessee 1st Half -13 and Tennessee 1st Half Points Over 23.5

Tennessee 2nd Half Points over 20.5 is also talking to me
1st half over 23.5 & u31.5 risky, but gets into good odds.

He will have a full offseason with the coaches. He will have command of our offensive scheme and a year to develop cohesion with the receivers. He will not ever look like last years version of himself again. Milton will be the Terminator for our opponents defenses next year. Why borrow trouble and denigrate our players? “Realists” need to GTFOH. Tired of all the hand ringing, whoa is me, pitiful prognosticators. Man up buttercup or go root for someone else.

This year 13-1 🤠

Next year 15-0 🤠

I see......15 - 0 every year and national champs for the next 15 consecutive years. Also winning national championships in Basketball, Women's Basketball, crocheting etc. etc. Joe will unquestionably be better than we have seen him in the past, he will show flashes of brilliance, he will not lead to a 15-0 season .... move away from the Kool-Aid. He will probably also not be as heady a quarterback or make as good of on field decisions as Hooker. What else are you reading in your tealeaves? What is the mighty Eightball forecasting? Buying and selling memorabilia may have softened your keen sense of observation.

I understand that there are some homers, and groups of fans, many times senior citizens who only view through Orange tinted glasses. I accept that, I appreciate it - we all appreciate that, but I also clearly recognize the Big Orange bias associated with it. I think we probably will not beat Alabama at Alabama next year; we may not beat Florida at Florida or Georgia in Knoxville. It will still be a great season. I also like your memes - but of course the.... I Have Spoken .... who are you again ??? did I miss something?

Okay ..... not the least bit phased by your threats to the realists. Joe may very well play like Cam Newton next season - but I don't expect him to suddenly analyze and process like Peyton or HH.

I HAVE SPOKEN --- (said In a spooky voice ) :)

You need to chill with the blatant optimism here. It's like we never knew you.
LOl. I'm just not worried about Pemba. He's a great player and I'd love to have him. But I am content with Josephs, Pearce, Bradley, and Herring. And then if we grab Walker also who apparently has had a monster season, we good.

Now, RB and receiver, that's another story. We need RB's and receivers. Leacock and Seldon aren't enough. We need more.

That's potentially a space issue and likely portal fill. That room is still chock full even if Hyatt goes early.

Ton of Napier ball coddling going on in the Simmons thread
Did you see how many times Billy Big Balls went for it on 4th down against us…. He’s in year one and posters here act like he’s the worst coach ever
His hair looks like a helmet.....all he needs is a chin strap.

I don’t think they will settle, in their mind. But my theory is they won’t get Dabo. Bama will hire someone else perceived as really good but it won’t work long term bc they can’t reproduce Saban’s results, which are now expected.

So has every other coach that we have played who recognized early that their only hope of keeping it somewhat close was to go for it. It is exactly what Kentucky and Missouri did. We did it last year when we were outgunned. You seem to be trolling -
If South Carolina has a fake punt - will we have to start calling him Shane Big Balls ?
