They’ll never close it. It’s open for good. He says now it’s just about finding ways to put a dent in the free for all free agency that’s about to be the new normal. That’s where I kind of disagree with him a bit. Hes right that the conferences could and should revenue share, but 10-15k per player won’t do anything. Heck, SMU players have an NIL collective that pays all of them 35k/year or something like that. Even if you do find that sweet spot money wise to give it’s still not going to put a huge dent in free agency imo. He goes more in depth on the subject in the actual pod.
