I'm happy with Heupel's offense and the culture he has established. What he does about the defense is going to be absolutely critical. They've held on by a hair all season and finally broke against one of the worst offenses in the SEC. That was so bad that I almost wonder if some Vegas folks got ahold of a few guys on our defense. There's just no logical explanation for what we just watched. So much in reach and not only are all the big goals gone...Hooker is probably done.

So, going 10-2 and getting to the Sugar Bowl is not a big goal?

I like our LB commits in this class. I've heard complimentary things about our freshmen LBs, they're just not ready YET. Beasley wasn't the one sucking ass out there tonight IMO. He's greatly improved since last season. And we were without Banks. So I disagree on your opinion of BJM at the moment. Could change in the future.

Seriously, the only defensive coach who should remain is Garner. He recruits like a madman and he sends guys to the league. I know the DBs are thin on depth, but damn, I expected more from Martinez. He sent a few of our guys to the NFL when he was with Butch. Hopefully Danny White suggests to Heupel to get rid of a few guys and he’ll pony up with serious money for actual good coaches.

What a pathetic defensive performance. Gave up 63 points to USCjr with everything to play for in front of us. They punted once. Rattler looked like Peyton Manning, 438 yards and SIX TDS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Did the defense get off the bus?? Tim Banks has to answer for this. Decided to rollout the Florida gameplan, hella conservative and completely outcoached.

We beat Florida, LSU, and Bama to lose to South Carolina. I'm still in shock.

We are still 2 years ahead of schedule with this rebuild. A chance to win 10 games this year and still in the running for a New Years Six bowl. I thought we could win 10 games this year so this is still a successful season with a win against Candy next week but DAMN WE BLEW A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR.
