We gave up 63 to one of the worst offenses in the country. We could have played walk ons at DB to start and I doubt they give up that much. This was a team who didn’t play for their coach and didn’t trust their DC. I think people are trying to downgrade what happened tonight with excuses. That’s one of the worse coaching jobs I have ever witnessed. I am honestly worried about our locker room after hearing these banks rumors and watching our game. This team seems to sent a message to Heupel IMO

If this is true and it’s about NIL then I’m done with all these idiots and giving them one more red cent. If they laid down tonight, they laid down on not just the coaches but their fellow students and the fans who have supported them and they can all rot for all I care. I will be done giving my time to such freaking POS.

Yep. People fell in love with JP and Butch and wouldn’t see warning signs.

This is a massive red flag. One of the worst losses I’ve ever seen. 22 point favorites and lose by 30. When playoffs are on the line.

Then get rid of all of them. Reality is other people will make more than you. Immaturity.

Life comes at you hard, so the coach should get rid of everyone who thinks that.

Good on Hendon. The coaches & staff aren’t getting you NIL money, your ass playing well is.

And Banks’ season has been a HUGE letdown from what he did last year.

Anyone who would stand up for a selfish player like that doesn't need to be on the team. I find it hard to believe the entire defense would be accepting of Banks pouting about his NIL deal. And then go out and lay an egg on purpose as is being suggested here.

I trust Heup 100%. I think he's a great offensive mind. The big question is, does he have the will and the balls to make the tough calls in the offseason.

Looking at arnett….. before tonight’s game…. We were giving up less points than them….They gave up 31 to LSU…. 33 to Auburn…. 45 to Georgia… I bet their talent is as good or better than ours…. It could just as easily be like bringing in Bob Shoop and the defense gets worse. They did hold Alabama lower but of course Alabama wasn’t worried about running up points when Mississippi state could only score 6 points.

Giving up 63 to this Carolina team is a fireable offense. It is very very hard to be worse than that

Sadly Vandy is playing well and we are going into it without our heisman contention QB, after this loss nothing will surprise me.

Some think it is coaching…. I tend to think it is talent…. We don’t have any front line starters in the secondary, imo…. One could argue that we should have brought in more talent but I feel like they have done the best they can with the toxic environment they took over and facing an ncaa investigation…. This next class has some really nice pieces coming in for the defense and I feel the 24 class will be even better.

Don't disagree but but the one thing I can't figure out is that we have had good improvement everywhere but the secondary. imo The next class does have some good talent but other than the portal, they will be Freshman. Not sure we can get enough DB's out of there with experience.

I'm gonna wait to make judgment on Banks and the player's til we know more. Really not fair to any of the player's to make snap judgements on them based on internet rumours, imo. Terrible vibe to give if the rumours are completely wrong or overblown.

Nope, but you have to defend all your players in front of the team. You can never chose sides. If NIL was the issue and Heupel only defended Hooker, that will divide a team. Everyone has different values and everyone values themselves higher than they should. Such is life.

I agree but there’s probably so much more to it. It’s a sticky situation. If you don’t show up to practice, you’re not going to be cuddled.

Have our back. If not, we give up. I know if players fought at practice, our coach would have benched both and lost it on both players. If a coach ever chooses another player over another, the team will get pissed. Because everyone has friends and people they are closer to on a team.

It’s going to be a struggle if they aren’t ready…. The portal is usually missing many good DBs…. May be hard to get any of them… SC is making some freshman work… hope we can too.
