It actually is, effectively. When they drafted the farm bill and made the provision for hemp based products with no more than 0.3% THC, they kinda missed the detail that a 10g edible could contain 30mg of hemp-derived THC and fall under the law. Didn't take long for stores to pop up selling legal edibles. Kinda blew my mind when I went into a shop looking for CBD only to find legit delta 9 THC.

Oh, I’ve sampled these and it’s great, but still a massive difference between products that you can buy in a legal state vs a non legal state. One nice benefit with the farm bill though is all of these different companies are really making strides in finding new legal products by isolating different cannabinoids than just the normal delta 9 one. This has led to Delta 8, THC-H, Delta 11, etc. Each one, while not quite as potent as regular Delta 9 THC, have slightly different effects. This will only help CBD research, THC research, etc.
