Well, this was short lived. My sons Friday night game on 9/9 was moved to Saturday 9/10 at 1p bc the hosting stadium lights do not work!!!

My advice? Try and soak up every chance you get to bond with your son…… so have your wife livestream his game while you’re in Pittsburgh

We do not have a tailgate spot. We need to plan somewhere to meet up.

My aunt used to have a spot in the garage right next to the stadium that overlooks the river but everything got shuffled due to required donations for things increasing dramatically from last year. I am not sure where we will be. Push come to shove, we may tailgate at her office building in the old city and then walk over when it gets close to game time. Not ideal but better than nothing.

It seems like it's taken forever to get to Game Day, but it got here so fast too. I remember posting after the loss to Purdue, "what time is kick-off next Saturday", knowing we had a full off-season ahead of us. It seemed like forever at the time, now it seems like I said that yesterday. . .

In retrospect, Josh Dobbs flipping from Arizona State and wondering if we was actually any good, seemed like last week. . .

This season is gonna be fun and I think the player who surprises us all this year will be (drum-roll) . . . Dylan Sampson! Last year I thought it would be Tiyon Evans. I think we'll see just enough from Sampson that we're gonna be excited about our running backs for, at least, the next few years.

Who do you think is gonna be our best newcomer? Bru? Pearce? Squirrel?
