He has three forwards and two of them are told to play defensively. The one all the way up top drops back all the time for possession and never tries for a run. They look lost unless playing defense. That’s why he didn’t bring Pepe. I guess he scores too much.

And Zimmerman is average in an otherwise great defensive backfield. Why would you not start Carter Vickers who is fast to deal with their forwards? I don’t understand some of our personnel decisions. We have won and moved on because of talent, not coaching.

Hard when you’re the only forward teams worry about. Our coach has no idea what to do up top. We are a defensive team and no movement up top. You have Aaronson and Reyna on the bench who are better forwards than what has played. Also, Pepe who is at home is the best of them all. Bad choices by our coach.

Game is just screaming for Reyna. Dutch have clogged the middle of the field and forced everything wide.. but we don’t have the forwards to cross the ball in against good defenses. Reyna at least gives us a guy that might be able to dribbled past a defender or two and break down that low block..but no we have him on the bench just like every other WC game so far.

Hopefully Aaronsons legs can give us some energy too.

If you have short forwards, why is the main strategy focused on the cross? Need faster, crisper passes, dominate the middle and follow up cherries.

LSU automatically gets Sugar as SEC champ. Bama gets knocked down to Orange. I still think we go to Cotton as USC should drop below us but you never know.

Agree. TN SoS is 7; USC is 34. TN FPI is 5; USC is 15. USC's best win is UCLA? No way we're left out of the NY6 in favor of USC.

I do want LSU to lose today, so we're not potentially dropped to the Cotton. Also, if LSU loses big, we have an even better case to pass Bama.
