I was really pissed after the SC game and still am.

#6 (really 5) program in the country going 10-2 and going to the orange bowl. Beat Bama and Florida. Have a legit Heisman candidate. Doing this while suffering numerous injuries in the secondary, our thinnest unit.

It’s been a damn great year.

Saban’s goose is cooked. Now he has to face 4 coaches every season who already have wins over him (Heupel, Kelly, Freeze, and Fisher). Then even if he makes the championship he’ll have to face Smart. On top of that Kiffin is nipping at his heels too.

Alabama will win some games still on talent alone but Saban’s path to championships is so much more difficult now. Decline and Fall of the Empire is underway.
