Because of betting on baseball? Personally I feel we are all flawed, take away his gambling problems he still leads baseball in most hits. I also feel Bonds is a hot player. That being said we put to many players in the hall of fame , it should be for the best players of their time
I have a personal bias against Rose. I probably should not post about him.

Versus Vandy when game was on the line he overthrew 5-6 WRs which would have been TDs including one horrific miss to Fant down the middle. In close games those are difference in win or loss. Rain doesn't make you overthrow WRs. I want to believe in him and have hope for next year so I am really rooting for him to have a good game vs Clemson

The game was on the line for about 37 seconds and he hit Hyatt on a 60 yard bomb to set up a touch down. After that the game was never " on the line" again.

Have you ever thrown 40-60 yard passes to receivers who can't run their usual speed because of wet slippery playing surfaces? Rumor has it that can mess up timing for qb/receiver combos that haven't gotten all that much work together recently.

Back to the FF with you! Back! Back I say!

4 Tennessee Volunteers have been runner-up for the Heisman. The first was Hank Lauricella in 1951. Then came Johnny Majors in 1956. Fast forward to the '90's and we had Heath in 1993, and Peyton in 1997.

It's hard to argue Heath was "robbed" because statistically, Charlie Ward had a better season. Peyton and Johnny were definitely robbed, though the fact the Heisman didn't consider black players in 1956 meant many players that were deserving were left out. I don't know enough about the 1951 season to make a call on whether or not Hank Lauricella was robbed.

Heisman is racist, confirmed. We don’t want racist trophies.

Geez, the all day driveling from many regarding how bad Joe Milton may be is taxing. He’s our QB for our biggest bowl in forever. I hope he plays well and we win. I choose to focus on the things we CAN control and another option at QB is a non option. What do they naysayers want? Navy Shuler to get a shot in his place? One poster ranted on with about 15 posts today on just how bad he throws. So we think Clemson will be running 8 in the box or realize he can and has hit deep throws in a blink of an eye and 65 yards down field at that? Again, geez…

Also, apparently, in windy conditions it's ill advised to put as much air under the ball. Also known as "touch" on VN.

This is why we fired Alex Golesh. Moran kept calling go routes in the windy rain.

sadly the Heisman is and always has been a joke. Which is sad because it should be the most prestigious award
