Before I die, I want to see a game where our oline is so dominant creating massive holes to run through that we have over 300 rushing yards.
I want to see a game where our front four on defense is so dominant that we have five sacks, 10 hurries, and 15 tfl’s.
and I don’t care who the opposition is. I just want us to crush somebody 75-0.
is that so wrong?

I haven’t gone back to look at the stats, but the Missouri game last year might be awfully close to what you’re looking for. So congrats maybe? Unless you didn’t watch that game.

Edit: I checked.

458 yds rushing (WTF??!! - hahahahaha)

8 TFL
1 sack
4 qb hurries
2 ints

So defense didn’t quite hit your metrics, but that was a hell of a performance by the team.

Lol. Heisman candidate that lost his job last year and had one decent game against a terrible team? Lost his job at Michigan too. Come on man. Just stop. Nico is the best QB prospect we have had in years. He is more talented than Milton. There is a reason Milton is second string.
Joe Burrow went to Ohio State not Michigan... oh, you were talking about Milton...

He's right, he has the talent to be a Heisman candidate if he puts it all together. The physical tools are there. Losing the job in the past means nothing. Jordan famously didn't make the basketball team in high school. I guess UNC shouldn't have given him a scholarship? I bet before the draft NBA GMs said, "Well he's talented but he didn't make his high school basketball team once. No way he can win league MVP and multiple championships with that on his record."

So Milton never put it together in Ann Arbor and wasn't fully prepared or settled down last year? He got injured and Hooker stepped in and became a star and now he's the backup. Those facts don't mean he can't have an incredible season next year and be the starter.

15 TFL's is pretty insane lol. I think some of our fans have insane expectations.

That means we would be a double digit favorite at home. Hopefully our fans show up big and paint Heinz field orange. Vols by 20+ IMO!! Let’s go!
How do you get to double digits? Isn’t home field generally regarded as being worth 3 points? Meaning we’d be a 7.5 point favorite at home?

Those aren’t facts. Milton lost the job. His “injury” didn’t prevent him from playing the next week. Im just not going to claim someone is a heisman candidate because they played one good game against a team down 38 already with eight passes. I hope he does ball out, he is a great kid. Strictly my opinion, but Nico is a star and probably a top two QB prospect in the nation this year. He is someone who can lead us to a title and I think you let that kind of talent play day one and kill it for three years. All IMO and I just want the Vols to win.

Ok… you said do people never learn, implying it is not just me. So what do I not know? Do you really think we’re paying Nico all that money to sit the bench? Do you really think he will stay here to redshirt? Kids do not do that now. He is coming to start and he is talented enough to do that.
He might be coming and planning to start but it's a helluva jump to the SEC. Even took the great Peyton Manning some time to gain the job and run with it. Hope Nico grabs it and rolls the minute he hits campus but it's a big ask.
