A lot of people downgrading Utah in here tonight to make themselves feel better. They are a really good, physical team and well coached.

UF proved tonight they are very talented. Going to be a very tough game. Their run game is worrisome as well as Richardson taking off. Don’t want to think about Banks or Beasley trying to tackle him one on one. Unpopular opinion I know.

Utah isn't terrible at all. I don't think they had any business being preseason top15 though.

Florida will always field a decent fiery defense idk why its gotta be something in there Sizzurp.They always play cocky and most teams feed into that bs hell i've watched a few UT teams bitch up to be blunt.Hooker and crew absolutely cannot let them dudes in our heads.We just need to strike fast & often but this might be the game we need our own defense to show up and make a statement..

Utah is not a top ten team. Theyre decent. UF is decent. Both are fringe top 25 based on tonight. They're not as good as you and others are making them out to be.

And I’ll randomly add to this post. We’re in a modern era now. Do analysts and broadcasters still need to wear full suits and ties on TV? A polo and khakis, dress pants, or nice jeans is suitable.

I don’t hardly see as many suits in corporate America now as it was 20-30+ years ago. The show “The Office” horribly depicts how it appears in an office workplace. Does an accountant need to wear a full suit and tie to sit at a desk in front of a computer all day and crunch numbers?

Save the dressy clothes for formal events like weddings, banquets, and funerals.

I’ll get off my soapbox.

I’ve been slowly shifting at work. Started with black sneakers instead of dress shoes. Then I got crazy and started with polo shirts and dress pants. I’m still planning my ultimate move of sleeveless hoodies and athletic shorts.

Please for one day can we not put down our team. Everyday it’s a new problem or wow this team will smoke us or another 7-5 season coming. Yes Florida won a big game but I’m getting kind of sick of people finding a new reason to put this team down every day

I am not an expert. But if I am Utah, there is no way I am calling that type of pass in that situation. Back-corner fades or rollout that cut the field to the sideline. I am not throwing to the middle vs a defense likely to drop 7 or 8 into a condensed space.

The Coach sure didn't put his QB in a good situation. I agree with you. Try for the TD but make sure you get the chance to tie. Not throwing it into a crowd.

its game 1, take it with a grade of slaw.

neither team is as bad or good as they show.

nothing about florida offense scares me. their defense is fast and reacts to the ball but gave up big plays.

we will run all over them.

we have to get off to a big start this year.

AR15 is exactly what we can’t stop. Mobile and accurate. I have thought Florida would be an L all off season. Florida will be an automatic L until we can actually beat them more than once every 20 years.

Meh.

Said it earlier...we're a match up nightmare. And what we saw from Pitt and Florida against the teams they played isn't necessarily gonna translate to how they'll be able to play us.

That said...their both more physical than us I think and if either of them can make that a problem for us then it can get dicey.

But neither of those teams want any part of trading points with us.

But the match ups are completely different.

All that said...I don't think either game is a walk in the park.

Utah may be good, but our offense is much more dynamic. Utah kicked 2 FG’s and had 2 TO’s inside the 6 yard line. They also missed a bunch of tackles.

Richardson will be tough with his legs, but I’m using the eye test.

Florida just spent all game beating Utah East/West. Utah is a power team that couldnt handle the speed of UF. We matchup much better with them than Utah did.
