He killed it at La-Lafayette, which is a pretty trash program. Don't get the people thinking he can't coach.Napier is the head coach. They're done.
Napier will be fired in 3 years tops.He killed it at La-Lafayette, which is a pretty trash program. Don't get the people thinking he can't coach.
We do this with every Florida coach. We talk about how they're going to flame out and then they all end up leaving or getting fired without ever having lost to us (except for that one guy). I'm not falling for it again.
I mean, it's kinda part of the job title. We're rivals, you're supposed to think every coach we hire is garbage. He killed it at La-Lafayette, which is a pretty trash program. Don't get the people thinking he can't coach.

They usually close stronger toward the signing period, as kids either leave for Georgia, Bama, Clemson, and or now Miami. The rest fall to Florida. On 247 the state of Florida currently has 81 players ranked as 4 star or higher including 8 5 stars. Florida should be top 3 in recruiting no matter who their coach is. Tennessee currently only has 12 players ranked as 4 stars on 247. I think we definitely can beat Florida this year but they do have an insane recruiting advantage pretty much every year.

I'm not sure Smart is all that anyway. He's mowing people down with talent. He barely has to coach at all. Jimbo I do think is pretty good.I don’t know if he will succeed or not but he’s got the “I’m going to do everything Sabans way” vibe to him. We’ve seen that those types, minus a couple like Smart and Jimbo, have failed. Time will tell if he will be another failed Saban disciple or one of the few who does well.
