Yeah seriously. Neyland had turf once. It was a mess. Then when they tore the turf out they broke into a cavern underneath the stadium. A cavern too big to fill with concrete.... so they had to engineer a support structure inside it and put a concrete cap on it.Somewhere @SoilVol just got really
Dude, seriously. Real football was meant to be played on real grass.
The Shields-Watkins field is an engineering marvel. The field can handle a foot of rain without any puddles or pooling.
