Good game tonight. Listened to it on the radio while helping a buddy remove and replace an engine in his daughter’s ‘09 Elantra. Guess that’s what friends are for. That and now I have a huge favor in the favor bag. He’ll have to manage my gypsy children crime ring while I go on vacation. We have a couple of injuries to starting OL and it will get rough. We are already struggling with consistency in run blocking.

Yes. We struggled big time against Pitt, and the stats against the 2 cream puffs may look good but they should. It’s the 3rd or 4th and 1 that tells the story. 1/2 yard or 1-2 yards every time. We should get 4-5 at will against Akron.

The score being what it is doesn't exactly tell the story, right?

I'm not gonna argue about it... But I didn't get the impression we were primed and ready.

Several penalties... Turnover... Some execution issues... And I agree..I don't think we were very physical in the run game and at times we did struggle to run the ball.

I'm willing to accept that our opponent determined performance to some degree, but I'd be lying if I said I saw a lot that made me confident in how we finish the conference schedule.
