"Chippy" puts a nice spin on it, as does "hitting low." The Zips were diving for knees, piling on, stopping our players from hopping up and punching at the ball, jabbing players while doing it and stopping them from getting the ball to the ref to line up quickly. They were looking to slow us down and stay in the game any way they could. The refs generally ignored it. It got old fast, and it was a long game. That last score and CJH's post-game blow-by was a response to how they played.
Hooker took some low hits. I'm sure they would have loved to knock him out early-- but jokes on them. Milton and TJ scored at will, and our backups to backups ran right by them.
