Line is 9.5 now
ME WHEN THE LINE IS 4.5: “It makes me nervous that it’s this close. Maybe we aren’t that good.”

ME WHEN THE LINE IS 9.5: “It makes me nervous that it’s this high. Feels like we might be overvalued.”

I guess I’m just nervous when it comes to the Vols.

"Chippy" puts a nice spin on it, as does "hitting low." The Zips were diving for knees, piling on, stopping our players from hopping up and punching at the ball, jabbing players while doing it and stopping them from getting the ball to the ref to line up quickly. They were looking to slow us down and stay in the game any way they could. The refs generally ignored it. It got old fast, and it was a long game. That last score and CJH's post-game blow-by was a response to how they played.

Hooker took some low hits. I'm sure they would have loved to knock him out early-- but jokes on them. Milton and TJ scored at will, and our backups to backups ran right by them.
There is simply no reason for that kind of crap. Trying to hurt people and blatant delay of game violations should not be allowed. No way they do that without the head coach and staff's blessing. I hope they go 0-12 and I hope Moorhead gets fired.

Thoughts from Akrin game,

1- no idea that Small got hurt too. Shoulda prob gotten younger players in sooner.

2- Refs gotta do a better job of protecting QB's and knees. Ridiculous.

3- Gotta execute better against the sock wearers.
Dang man...Small got hurt on like the second or play...jeez.

Again, my SEC + account took a bit to get kinks worked out. Was also commentary on the other injuries, didnt get to watch first part of first quarter. Shoulda made that clear in that post, instead of waiting for folks like Vols Doc to catch up next October.

Not sure in 2016. In 2012, they were in Circle Park. In 1999, they were in the concourse at Thompson-Boling.
2004 Auburn game too…. It was a beautiful shot of the stadium but absolutely abysmal for fan interaction… you’re like 20 feet below the upper concourse on the ramp.

Not to mention the entire South end zone is on top of a decrepit brick building and every single bolt and I-beam in the scaffolding structure is rusted significantly.
The brick building supports no weight at all, it is just there, so that has never bothered me, and you would think that they do tests on the steel scaffolding structure to make sure it still has integrity, so that doesn't bother me either...but knowing the rock underneath Neyland is kinda like swiss cheese does bother me.

We need to kick them out.

There has to be a large portion of their fan base that is embarrassed by this stuff, right? I thought the students were supposed to be the "cool, hip" portion of the fanbase. Their students and young fans are freaking weirdos. They remind me of people on the TV shows my wife watches about cults. Do they think that they are funny?
