I was the poster you were responding to, and I'm literally saying that when I said "sucks" it was too harsh and wrong. But "sucks" is also subjective.

Point was, Tennessee basketball wasn't revered or respected on the grand scale nationwide really until the last 15-20 years. I think its fair to say "middling." Bruce made us be taken seriously. Barnes has sustained longevity. Together they've made us relevant to a generation of youth basketball players. The longer we sustain this consistency the better we are in the long run for recruiting and changing the narrative of what Tennessee's program is.
My bad… lost track of the tags. But yeah I agree!

Yeah, I think the other coaches trying to negative recruit Heupel is going to mean USC Jr & Vandy won't get any let up.

Kentucky could have been much more of a slaughter, but we chose to only throw it 25 times (2nd lowest of the season). Could be that Heupel is friends with the Stoops so didn't wanna go that route, but he's got no love loss for Beamer or Vandy and if he needs to showcase what this offense is going to do next season then he will.

I hope we rack up 600 total yards and see one of our RBs hit 200. 60+ as well!

Considering Bob scapegoated Heupel at Oklahoma to protect his other brother, I'd say Heupel doesn't really have a fondness for the Stoops family.

Good lord, I’m trying to read about the recruit and y’all are bickering about Milton.. All we know about Milton is what we’ve seen on the field, when he’s been the starter he’s been less then average. As a qb doing mop up duty He’s shown flashes of improving we get it, but let’s hold up before we deem him the heisman for next year.

Yes, it's mop up duty, but it's also cold from the bench throwing to 2s and 3s He's accumulated a full game's worth of throws, and objectively, his aggregate stats are better than Hooker's. It's clear he's improved.

THEN WHY DIDN'T HE RUN IT UP ON KENTUCKY WEEZER?!?! HUH????

Mister big shot with all your fancy answers, got that one for me?!?!

All I know is we took the foot off the pedal against the Wildcats. Only ran 65 offensive plays, ran the ball 40 times compared to 25 passing and 422 yards was our 3rd lowest total of the season too.

It’s a good point. It could have been worse.

He probably won't badmouth the Stoops family simply because that would be unprofessional, but I doubt he's that friendly with them. Would you be friends with someone who fired you?

TCU losses and we're in, period. But if they stay undefeated I don't want that 4th spot to be a debate amongst us, OSU/MICH loser, Clemson (6 appearances and 2 titles), or USC (Pac-12 darling who hasn't made the CFP yet).

I have zero doubt the committee will favor a west coast 1 loss conference champion over a SEC 1 loss that didn't even play for their conference championship, despite us bringing the sort of ratings we do and despite us being objectively a top 3 team this year.

So at this point if TCU or USC loses that'd be great and we'll be in easily. If both lose then we're likely the 3 seed.

So I HAD the nerves about Mizzou, which was at home, but am strangely at peace about Carolina. I don't know what this means. Maybe it's a dietary thing.

Could also be that Mizzou only had given up 28 to one other opponent before us (Kansas State) and despite having 5 losses heading into the game they had lost 4 of them by 7 points or less.

South Carolina on the other hand has 4 losses and every one of them has been by 13 points or more.
