Darryl Kile could throw a complete game using just his curve…ungodly!

I saw him pitch when he was with the Astros against the Braves on a scorching Sunday afternoon in Fulton County Stadium. He absolutely dominated.

I remember the day his life tragically ended as the game was called against the Cubs as he has passed in his sleep.

Not claiming he’s the best of all time by any standard, but my favorite boxer is Bernard Hopkins. A true character and still whipped azz after 40.

I will add Oscar De La Hoya and Bernard "BT Express" Taylor to the list. Not the best of all time, either, but two of my favorites.

Outside of Mike Tyson, the most devastating pound for pound puncher I’ve ever seen was “The Hitman” Tommy Hearns. Born in Grand Junction, Tennessee and grew up in Detroit. Definitely worth a watch on YouTube.

Idk about that, but I got into playing baseball in the 90s as a kid, and the Braves were IT. I still want a Ron Gant jersey

I think Vols basketball will jump back to #5 in the next ranking. #8 Xavier lost to an unranked team. #7 Texas just lost to #12 Iowa State. #6 UConn lost to an unranked team. Kansas should stay above the Vols unless they lose to #14 TCU on Saturday. But #5 UCLA plays at Arizona State tonight then at #11 Arizona on Saturday. Decent change they lose one or both.

So if the Vols do their job and beat LSU and Georgia, I think they'll be Top 5 again for the Texas matchup.

Are our secondary woes due to talent or coaching? In year 1 I would have said talent. At the end of year 2 I lean toward coaching. Sometimes we just looked totally lost back there, but I’m no X’s and O’s guru. Discuss.
