Been thinking about you a lot lately. You are the man! Keep your head up and keep grinding. You got this.I’m hanging in there Soda, I’ve got a lot on my plate right now, hardest thing I’ve ever been through. Trying to pour all my time into my kids right now. I would appreciate all the prayers you guys can muster. Thanks for checking in on me.
Hope they show a highlight again.Tuck and run from his 35 (I think) to around the 5 yard line. He was tip toeing the sideline and stepped out short of scoring. I don't know how hard the defense is trying but he looked pretty fast
It sucks that people who really could not care a whole lot less about beautiful nature or art are usually the ones with the financial situation to go see beautiful things...they just go because it is a thing to do, not because they are in awe.I’m late to the party on this art discussion and skipped many pages. Also, will admit that I am easily bored by lots (most) of art stuff. But, the viewing experience of Da Vinci’s Last Supper is pretty awesome.
It takes up an entire wall. It was painted using a dry rather than wet fresco technique (may be messing this detail up but it’s something like this). Because of that, the room is completely sealed so no extra moisture can get in. Only a dozen or so people are allowed in for maybe 15-20 minutes at a time. Because of that, it’s not an overcrowded zoo that smells like BO and pasta farts like the Sistine Chapel.
Also, shocker, Jesus has no feet in The Last Supper because some monk a few hundred years ago decided it would be more convenient to have a door than a priceless masterpiece on that wall. Go figure.
