Cincy gets what they deserve not utilizing their 2-for-1 opportunity. That has to be one of the most egregious acts against both common sense and analytics. I'll never understand accepting 1 possession vs 2 of them, especially with a 20 second gap. Unfathomable.

VolGee made a good point - a lot of home field advantages.

Over the last 5 games, we are both 4-1...but Texas is only running a +3.4 PPG margin...we are winning at a 12.6 PPG clip. All conference games.

My biggest concern is our recent schedule. We haven't played a ranked team all month. Texas has at least played 2. Hopefully we are "up to speed" and haven't downscaled to our recent opponents. Otherwise, I feel we have a lot of advantages...TBA is going to be rocking.

Overrated <> Very good. Just overrated.

Perception of your opponent and their relative ranking is just the ego speaking anyway. But...pouring salt into the opponent's wound is very real 😅

Everyone admitted Bama was overrated at #1 (coaches)/#3 AP when we beat them. After all, no UT fan believed they should have been ranked above us at the 5/6 spot. It doesn't mean we didn't think they were very very good and a top 10 team. They were simply ranked too high at that time as the #1/#3 team and we poured salt over it.

After all, you can't argue you should be ranked above the team you just beat if you don't also argue they are overrated, given you're close in rankings and are jumping them.
