Get TSU to play on campus again and it won’t be that bad. “The Hole” is better anyway
I just like grass……easy @TrippieReddI’m not sure it has everything to do with over playing on it, or they just aren’t good at it. They use Bermuda, but the Chiefs, Ravens, and Commanders use it as well. They can’t keep it up. It gets sloppy.
Teams like Pittsburgh and Cleveland can use grass through the season, but they can grow bluegrass.
They needed to change something.

Unless DW continues his track record of identifying and hiring homerun types. Another one would engineer negative regret.and aren’t the LVs like third in the SEC right now? Pat Summitt was a once in a lifetime coach and realistically it’s not the bar to use .. I think if we replace Kelly, we’re gonna regret it..
We'll agree to disagree. But....you're still wrong.Okay. 54% completion is pretty not great. He was not accurate. At all. I think people have revised his "greatness" in their memories because UT won it all that year.
If he performed EXACTLY the same, but the team lost a couple of games, he would have been remembered as pretty average.
I think there might be an avenue to move forward with her. Their recruiting in the '25-'27 classes looks really good right now. They just got a commit from the #1 player in the '27 class. And there is a good chance they end up with 3 Top 10 players in that class alone. And I think she does some big picture/chemistry things well. But IMO Danny White needs to tell her that if she wants to keep her job she must hire one of the best offensive minds in the country as an assistant coach. And tell KH that she has to stay out of that coach's way when coaching the offense. We need a system that makes us harder to guard. We run a stale, stagnant offensive system. They only create scoring opportunities by matchups. That works when the other team is physically overmatched. It doesn't work against quality opponents. Hire whoever knows how to run the Ohio State women's system. And get out of their way.19 years is a lot of experience…. There is no promise for the Lady Vols bc her recruiting is very poor…. She had one commit last year and no commits this year…. I like Kellie but it’s time to move on.
Because LV sports are very political at UT, and many believe she can turn it around and has earned the opportunity to do so. And Kellie is a former player who won three NCs, played for Pat, is beloved in the community and has a large, loud contingent of backers. The minute you talk about replacing her, there are battle lines drawn. So many sensitive issues to address, including diversity and LV legacy, and different opinions on who to hire. Many think some issues shouldn't be issues, but they are.
What kind of offense do the women run at Ohio state?I think there might be an avenue to move forward with her. Their recruiting in the '25-'27 classes looks really good right now. I don't buy that. If the kid is listed as a 5-star athlete the only way that I could see him not projecting at some position is if he had never played the game of football before. Even then, scouts have been able to project basketball players and track stars into positions in football.
Also, your list of schools shows that major programs are actively pursuing him, so the premise of the original post to which I was responding was false.
Pat had one of the most intense presences I've ever witnessed. I've seen her chew out players, and even though she wasn't talking to me, I just wanted to sink into my seat and disappear. She was hardcore.
So, I was enrolled in a "study abroad" class that was going to San Francisco, then Fresno, then Monterrey. Well, since my advisor was the course instructor and we were basically the TAs, the other PhD student and I noticed a week before the trip we had half a day unscheduled between San Francisco and Fresno so we convinced him to let us detour to Yosemite. We were arguing between Sequoia and Yosemite up until the night before and a foot of snow was forecasted for Sequoia that day so we picked Yosemite. How does someone make an impromptu visit to Yosemite? It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere.
