Trent dilfer is a man who understands things
It is going to be interesting to see how his style transfers to College. I know they thought the world of him at Lipscomb and it was easy to see that they were a well coached football team.

No judgment as to one's childhood and I'm not an old school or traditionalist type...quite the opposite...but I do think kids need to get the hell back outside and be in nature, getting dirty, and experiencing "play" outside of their bedrooms... (but off my lawn, most importantly!)
My freshman want to stop practicing after what they think is an injury but is in fact them being tired. I inform them of this every practice but they still think it's an injury. They don't know what pain or an injury truly is

So with NIL, could you give a recruit/enrolled athlete x amount of dollars for a picture/autograph randomly in public? Idk the rules, or does it have to be a contract to do this blah and receive this blah.

My coach would ask us every time - Are you hurt or are you injured?!?

I have been mercifully healthy most of my life, but I do remember the exact phenomenon you’re talking about. As a freshman running track and cross country, I had no idea the amount of physical pain your body could endure that is in fact not an injury. Basically, I found out it hurts really bad to sprint for half a mile, but you can do it.
