South Carolina is absolutely horrible. Blowing them out is expected. Of course they look good against SC. Hopefully this play will carry over to the rest of our games but our history this year says otherwise.
So I have a question. Normally when we lose people say it’s not on Barnes. So he doesn’t get any credit for the win right?
8-4 is the floor...7 wins or or less is possible if the injury bug hits several key positions or individuals.7-5 is only possible if literally everyone underperforms and crazy injuries happen.
12-0 is the ceiling in the regular season. 9-3 is the floor.
A&M being the only team that can really match up with us because of their talent at the line of scrimmage.
Yeah I get the odds against winning every game you're favored in is low and I get how seasons unfold in unexpected ways.
I just seem to have more faith in our personnel compared to others here.
Because the odds also favor our defense improving and our offensive being unstoppable again.
MSST needed a quad 1 win to keep tournament hopes alive. You know how A&M always shoots more free throws? Go look at the box score.Alabama got a guaranteed share of the SEC championship today. Since aTm is still in the running, I'm curious to see who the SEC assigns to ref their remaining games. I didn't see the game today but aTm lost to Miss St. They have Ole miss and Alabama to end the season. Must see TV, if you believe there's SEC bias towards bama.
1)AL- 15-1
2)atm- 13-3

I was planning and saving to go somewhere beautiful for mid spring...but the transmission went out in my wife's car and a couple we are old friends with (the wife has debilitating Multiple Sclerosis) were in a really bad wreck that totaled their wheelchair van two weeks ago, and then lost a ton of their belongings in a house fire last week, so we are giving them what money we have saved after getting our car fixed..Good evening from Curaco.

Win as a team, lose as a team. It's really that simple.South Carolina is absolutely horrible. Blowing them out is expected. Of course they look good against SC. Hopefully this play will carry over to the rest of our games but our history this year says otherwise.

Step 1 of Conspiracy completeI agree, however, playing Devil's Advocate, if there WERE a conspiracy the conspiracy would involve the notion that they aren't "tanking" Tennessee for the sake of tanking Tennessee. They, in conspiracy-land, are ensuring bubble teams get quality wins against teams that are already in the tournament. Thus increasing the likelihood that more SEC teams get at-large bids, conspiratorially of course. Tennessss just happens to be the team getting ths short end of the stick in this fantasy. This conspiratorial idealists would point to tougher reffing after the losses (after Arizona loss we struggled with Ole Miss to start SEC play), then everything was fine until we had to play golden-child Kentucky who needed a win to stay in the postseason hunt. Then we were called favorably in a romp against Texas. Then when we dropped Florida that really started expanding the gap between us and Bama. So, allegedly, Alabama would be protected since they're the number 1 and looking at a 1 seed, and Tennessee would be the cannon fodder for boosting resumes of other teams.
The buzzer beaters were flukes, but poor reffing (theoretically), kept those games close with teams that needed wins. Now, Alabama probably still secured the 1 seed and Tennessee was really hurting and needed a win to help us out so we got the favorable whistle in that game of course.
That leaves us with Kentucky and A&M which have an outside chance with a good finish and a bubble team, respectively.
Now, Tennessee really needs the boost going into the postseason to help the SEC look good. So we're gonna be allowed to beat up South Carolina and honestly Arkansas is gonna get the hurt juice. They're gonna ensure Tennessee wins 2/3 of these games, supposedly - obviously.
Then the Vols will be allowed to win a game or two in the SEC tournament. They'll lose to Bama in the semis or finals, depending on how the seeds work out and if Brandon Miller is allowed to keep playing.
Then the SEC will say, "Fly my little birdies!" And kick us out of the nest like Gerard Butler in 300.
All hypothetical of course. View attachment 537721
A blowout win wasn't expected. SC beat Kentucky early this year and just lost to Bama by 2 a few days ago. Tennessee played a good, complete game today. That shouldn't be marginalized.South Carolina is absolutely horrible. Blowing them out is expected. Of course they look good against SC. Hopefully this play will carry over to the rest of our games but our history this year says otherwise.

https://www.si.com/college/2023/02/...iller-pre-game-pat-down-shows-true-prioritiesOats and Bama are looking like the fools that the rest of the country believe they are. Miller was in on the deal but nothing happened to him…again.
