You don't make it to that many Final Fours without being elite. He's phenomenal. Just think he'd have fallen into 1 or 2 more because he's on a level with the best when it comes to performance in the tournament.

Y'all just remember that last year Ole Miss was #1 at this point of the season

And proceeded to get smoked by EVERYONE.

Then improved over the course of the season, got a regional bid, and tore through the CWS.

Basevols will be fine. Needn't judge them off last year's team. They'll work it out.

I was just about to bring up Ole Miss.

The fact is this team lost a huge amount of production and even more in leadership....I will never understand how people can know that truth and still be shocked when the team struggles.

I think Vitello has proven he's obviously a capable coach and struggling in a rebuilding season is not much of an indication of anything at this point.

I thought we would probably be a top half SEC team, but I wasn't expecting Dollander and Burns to look like . If they don't get it together we will miss the CWS.
