So basically FDU is going to play a dozen players and blitz. Ramp up the pace and maximize possessions. Heupel offense.

Going to be vulnerable on fast breaks and them getting the ball back in play quickly. Probably going to drive to the basket hard against the bigs and try to 1. Get our bigs exhausted 2. Force our bigs to foul.

FAU is basically going to do the same thing.

Good thing is our defense should be a challenge for any team. But especially if we can slow them down. And our guys are probably in the best shape in the country.

I also like that we can play small ball too with Awaka and 4 guards. Even put Phillips in the post against a team as small as FDU. (ZZ would be huge in either matchup)

Anyway, this is a good game and both matchups will be interesting. Either they shoot our lights out or we cripple them and physically dominate.

I hate playing these kind of teams...it's giving me heartburn thinking about it.

If we do what these other teams aren't doing and hit open shots we will blow either one of these off the floor...if we have one of our patented Arctic cold spells...we will lose embarrassingly.


I hate that we are so streaky on offense as a team.

Yeah that's the only think I'm really worried about. FAU is in this game because they keep hitting huge shots when they need them.

Hopefully we can force these guys to miss.
