This was the most wide open field in years and the tournament is playing out that way. Last night sucked, but as a sport, it’s so much more enjoyable for the average sports fan than watching the same 5-6 teams dominate every year like CFB.

Nate Oats knows a good shooter when he sees one, he’ll probably portal a few of these guys.

CFB needs a competition committee - it might be helpless, though. NIL will let 10-15 teams compete, but not much more.

Nate Oats: "that's what happens in sports" goes on to say they didn't lose because of effort, desire, etc. just didn't play as well as the opponent this one game. Doesn't make the season a disappointment, just the ending.

Hate him (as a Bammer) but couldn't be any truer. DW does hire some smart folks after all.

Some negas could heed those words. That's just sports...same as how BaseVols ended last year.

he will have another shot next year! Quality group returning, with a nice mix of young players. That‘s what’s great about coaching stability.

Probably not set up as good as this year…. I don’t think he will ever be able to do it here.
