We have tornadoes here in Arkansas. Already hit Little Rock. Little Rock area expecting 600 plus casualties. We are on high alert here in NE Arkansas, I just swept out our storm shelter and neighbors are contacting us to get a spot in the shelter.

Storms expected in our area in about 2 hours. The Little Rock storm is going south of us. A second storm behind it is the one one we are watching. 3 years ago this past week, Jonesboro was hit with a big tornado that destroyed the mall. Covid had just hit and the mall was almost empty. Covid actually saved lives that day because people had been asked to stay home.
Oh no! Praying!

My guess is that casualty means people effected in general. I HOPE it doesn't mean people in need of hospitalization but just everyone in need of anything from a few stitches to just being seen/monitored.
They are saying All hospitals are on highest alert.

Who the hell really wrote that? I looked it up and there's no way Mitchum or Raye wrote it. An outsider gets Cumberland right, they get Knoxville but they don't get Kingston Pike, Maynardville or Bearden. Most non-native Knoxvillians don't even realize Bearden is treated somewhat as its own thing - even those who live there. The lyrics are right but the music is well not. (Y'all know what I mean). I just wanna know who they bought the lyrics from?
Would not say Bearden. The "old Bearden" is dang near close to downtown. I'm thinking the beer market area right before old kingston pike. Now...further out yeah but still nay.

Now Farragut...that is on its own. Used to be just farms from post-Cedar Bluff out to Blount Co.

Well not on it's own like Farragut in a true since but Bearden certainly felt like it's own place when I lived there.

Extremely violent tornado near Millington just north of Memphis. Everyone in region with even slight risk be aware and ready to take shelter this outbreak is BAD. Once in a decade 2011 type stuff.
That is same storm (tornado) that hit Little Rock and Wynne, AR.
