Imperial is basically the national beer of Costa Rica. I got turned onto it when we were down there. Looking for somewhere in my area to buy it.

IPAs are OK. I'll take a good stout or porter over an IPA any time, tho. Or maybe a Belgian wheat.

Speaking of gravity, I once brewed a honey wheat with Champaign yeast. Can't remember the alc content, but between the honey and that yeast, it was high. 1/2 beer and my uncle was heavy buzzed lol.

prob my fave is sexual chocolate. get a lot of flavor.

Belgian Tripels are high alcohol but are good at hiding it due to spices and use of Belgian candi sugar. Some are better at hiding it than others. My favorite is La Fin Du Monde from Unibroue brewing.

I wouldn’t say it was sweet like some stouts, but the lactose balanced the hoppiness. 8.4% was easy to drink.

One thing I’ve noticed with spring games this year is that they are only on ESPN+ and not the SEC Network or ACC Network except for reruns. I would have thought ratings are pretty good for spring games.
