And there were EPIC games during his time at Notre Dame (like the Cotton Bowl), where Montana was THE reason they pulled out a win. As opposed to games just last season where Levis pulled defeat out of the jaws of victory with fumbles and interceptions in the red zone. Self styled experts have to mute that out and give more credence to him throwing in shorts and how wide his clavicle measures. Useless metrics that made Montana a 3rd round draft pick.

Exactly! Never watched full games of Montana in college but saw highlights because I started watching NFL just to watch him. He definitely had that it in college but experts thought he couldn’t do it in the NFL. We’ll see with Levis.

Montana threw four ints that game and fumbled once…. It was an iconic game bc he had the flu and they pulled it out at the end…. 2 of their last three TDs were bc of a blocked punt for a TD and Houston went for it on 4th and 1 inside the 30 to give ND a short field…. It was horrible conditions and Montana did great pulling it out though.
