Big brain reply 😆

If there's one thing they can take solace in - it is that post-draft analysis of how well a team drafted has near zero relevance to how a team does.

The correlation found by fivethirtyeight is .058.

Basically dog poop. We might as well all take how we think teams did, good or bad, and wait 5 years to determine if they were good drafts or not. Almost like...college recruiting classes.

Or at least that's the silver lining I would sell to Titans fans in this time of mourning 😁
Right. And "basically dog poop" accuracy is what a lot of people thought about the "A" grade they somehow got this year, at least according to whatever their "reporters" are reporting last night.

Y'all are crazy.

Talent is talent. Have you paid any attention to who he's brought into the program? Bringing in...
He is completely overhauling that roster.

I don't think they'll be a NY6. Depth is a real thing, and they won't have that. But they've lost 80% of a roster that went 1-11...

In other words: it's silly to even mention the 2022 season of Colorado at this point.
The roster is literally not even close to being the same
Last I seen Colorado only has 4 dlinemen on their team. I don't care what conference your in. When you are that slim upfront you're going to struggle no matter how much talent you have anywhere else

Oh! So he gave those numbers?
Why Tennessee Titans picking Colton Dowell in 2023 NFL Draft is 'dream'

From above story:

Dowell had a pre-draft workout with the Titans, and for him just getting a chance to see the inside of the team facility was a blessing. But he took advantage of his pre-draft exposure as best he could. Dowell says he ran a 4.40-second 40-yard dash, jumped 41.5 inches in his vertical leap and pushed out 23 reps on the bench press at 225 pounds. That 40 time would've ranked sixth-best among receivers at the NFL combine and his vertical leap and bench press reps would've been the best.

Now this I agree with. Vols fans started the meltdown but dude should’ve never entertained the thing. Be a professional
Dude, Levis sitting on his sofa was a national laughing stock. The whole country was talking about it. (Till the next morning when the very media that made a spectacle of him the night before starting pearl clutching and posing that "some" [other] "people" are taking this too far, meaning fans nationwide, not Vols fans. If you think Vols fans were alone in that, or even in the forefront, it is because you were on the board that night and saw everybody clowning Kentucky. Which was fun.

What happened when Levis was picked is that Kentucky pretty nearly ignored Levis and went whole hog in on taunting the Vols. A real case of penis envy, those mild cats. For example, they were saying that Vols fans would now "have to watch" Levis. That was the focus of their celebration.

Vols fans have been laughing at Levis and his pretension for two years. I think you did too. Of course they think he was a bad pick. Levis crying is a regular board meme. For example, consult page 1 of this thread.

🤦🏼‍♂️

Shopping in the bargain bin.

He's from my hometown and I go to church with his family. Nice people and the kid did have a good game against our Vols if you go back and watch the film.

Dowell isn’t a bad pick. But Vrabel poking at Vols fans wasn’t smart. They’re in a nose dive and even the new GM doesn’t seem capable of handling a draft.

The worst part…it was a closed session pre-draft workout for the Titans. Not a pro day, so who can argue his claims, the franchise that snagged him sure isn’t going to. 😂

I mean I hope he does well, nothing against Dowell or where he was drafted. But the Titans GM/Coach aren’t really looking smart right now. Maybe we’re all wrong and they’re about to be elite?

On Dowell, what I seem to recall is that people were mostly bemoaning our secondary. They were saying we needed so much improvement that even UTM was throwing on us. And then we even had injuries in the secondary in the game. (I remember someone hitting the brick wall behind the end zone). But I think a few people might have noted he seemed like a player. But really they only had that one early TD until clean-up time when they scored on our subs while we ran clock, leading Simpson to brag that he "won the second half." Some people will prolly rewatch if they are big Titans fans.

Jar of mayo.....and not Duke's or Hellmans. Maybe Great Valu or some other raggedy off brand. This is why I don't have a specific NFL team. I follow players.
Perfect. Mayo head is now being touted as a "value pick."

Dude is going to try to get commercials for bananas and mayo and coffee. Did you see the clip of him asking Peyton at Peyton's camp about how to get commercials and Peyton said something like "Brah, we need to focus on football." Classic.
