I've only been following it halfway, but last year Barnes had a habit of letting teams go on double digits runs and not calling a time out

He let them go on a 12 nothing run and still didn't call a timeout

Because obviously there's zero credit given for gaining a big lead

But for losing a big lead, there's plenty of blame to go around

Net effect: blame for hardly being up on the road vs #13 in the country And you're wrong, the other team is supposed to roll over and give up obviously.

That's a good point. He is a little stubborn that way, always has been. Maryland is a good team though and we have given them some help in the 2nd half.

He’s probably done it his whole career. Guys know they need to settle down. They are coaches hard outside the games. It is what it is. We missed a front end of a one and one that could have slowed it down.

If you don't do anything at all (time out, subs, change D) while the lead evaporates, them yes, you can blame the coach.
