RiotVol and I lived in Starkville. I miss it tbh, made a lot of friends there. But Hattiesburg sucks.

It’s been a minute since I was in Starkville. Travel baseball with my oldest when playing 17U. He’s 30 now. He and a HS teammate were both there. At the conclusion of the event we stayed in Chattanooga for a few days. Went rafting down the Ocoee. The boys loved it. Went on to Marietta, GA for the next baseball event. Boy, those were the days.

State fans have always come across as very chill *but* people got used to us sucking at everything and no one in the SEC is happy about us climbing back. We tend to forget that us going up pushes everyone else down a spot. We have a ton of haters right now because we're suddenly good at so many things.

He's been too eager. A lot of our batters have been too quick to swing at bad pitches.
