Just a guess but I bet that official is sick to his stomach right now. You can see the hesitation in his reaction and just assumed he saw what happened. But once your hands go up there’s really no going back. Classic case of take an extra few seconds to make sure what you saw happen is actually what happened.

I think Alabama has replay for high school playoffs but most states don’t as of now. I can see that changing soon especially for championship games.
