Somewhere between jawing and being tossed backward down a flight of stairs, he submitted and went into protection mode. That is a prosecutor's dream. Done deal. Plea bargain if he's feeling generous or overworked. Lots of hard time if not.

The law doesn't care what's happened. It only cares if the person who responded did so because they reasonably felt that their life was threatened at the moment. Ignore that apparently it was only drunken annoyance. Even if there had been a physical altercation leading up to this, as soon as the drunk guy went non-aggressive and started clinging to the handrail, your right to award stupid prizes ends, as far as the law is concerned.

Fun way to spend $2...like a cheap cost of entertainment I suppose every once a year or so.

Statistically speaking, the cutover point iirc is somewhere around a 700-800mm pool to reach a ~breakeven EV point. Interestingly, the EV actually goes back down after that point because of the likelihood of multiple winners.

But at $500mm the expected loss at least isn't too bad. Far better than buying when the pool is $20mm or whatever it begins at...that is for the birds.

From my very first post, I have been arguing dangers and stupidity; not actual outcome. As soon as the idiot tossed the drunk a-hole backward, his own self-determination ended. That's no way to live life. Much less the idea of having killed someone becausde you're too thin skinned to ignore a drunk's stupidity.

Talk about a nancy man.

He was leaning over. Most likely a tried and true tactic employed countless times to prevent removal from all you can eat buffets. Ran into the one drunk with extreme upper body strength.

I doubt it, I was never a troublemaker and I was a happy goodtime drunk. I only got into a couple of dustups (which of course were because of women) and both of them ended really quick.

I'm not getting the manage the expectations posts for next season at all.

I see 10 wins on cruise control. That's before we beat UGA in Neyland for #11. My only concern is Bama at Tuscaloser.

The O is going to put up 45 points per game and the D is going to be significantly better.

We are the match up problem for our opponents. We don't have match up problems if we execute once the D becomes even SEC average.

He’s def scared of Heupel. Literally spent the entire off-season and season trying to come up with ways to defend our offense. They played great but still got away with a lot of holds and Hooker missed several would-be touchdowns throws that game.
