South Carolina fans have rallied around Beamer the same way our fanbase rallied around Butch Jones.

When we had Butch, we thought we had the “best coach” and that we were a program on the rise. We were bought in with the “brick by brick” and “Team117” slogans.

It’s no different with Carolina fans and Beamer. His charisma is similar and they will back him and his skirmishes with the media until they have another inevitable 6-7 win season and some will begin to turn on him.

They’re expecting 8-9 wins this season and they aren’t reaching that, with their schedule.

Only difference? . . South Carolina blows, traditional style. . . they'll let him hang around 4-5 seasons longer than they should,

There is no one even close. Usually ADs specialize in one area. Fundraising was said to be Dr White's specialty. I don't think he has a specialty. He's great at everything. Everything he's done here has been excellent. . . at least as for what fans have seen. I have to imagine he's great at things we don't see as well.

Yeah a bunch of SEC teams are which makes me wonder what happens when Oklahoma and Texas join because at that point we have the numbers for it to be the SEC and then B12 can row with us. Regardless of how they do it, they will probably still have to merge conferences for rowing's sake.
