where is the closest between loudon and knoxville that I can rent a boat or charter a boat to drive to neyland. Always been a bucket list thing and mite as well knock it off while im up there next wknd
I'd just check the boat docks in the area. Furthest I'd go away from Neyland would be ft loudon marina, it takes a few hours to get to Neyland from there. You could probably find a rental at volunteer cove or duncan marina.

@ButchAintOne …….Don’t think there are rentals out of Duncan’s. If interested….I can check. Down there all the time. Might check Louisville and The Yacht Club.
Do they have a bulletin board? Sometimes you can find rentals that way. Probably just pontoons, if anything.

Has always been a bucket list item to do Vol Navy for a game

Live in Denver. Have had season tix for decades. Coming in for USCjr, TAMU, and GA this year

Want. What if some VN gang got together and made it happen? Seriously... rent a boat?

Them in particular. If you've ever met someone who is obsessed with college football but has only watched it for like 2 years... That is their entire fanbase. It isn't hard to see why they hated Heupel when they truly believed at the time that putting up 40 points a game was trivial.

Luxury brand Butch Jones is a decent coach for them but he's never going to make serious noise in the Big 12.
Our fans would have been the same way if we declined every year since we had an undefeated season…. There were reasons for that…. Mainly COVID but fans don’t like excuses.

You're right. I'd like to think at least some of us would have enough sense to call for defensive staff changes instead of wanting to throw the baby out with the bath water. Because even in those declining seasons the offense remained elite.

And that was my take when we hired him. Forget his record, the man was a good DC hire away from being a championship level coach on the field. Now with two years of evidence I still don't really like the Tim Banks hire, but the offense has been so damn good he's still ahead of schedule.

Had the grand kids staying with us for a few days. After some time in the pool, they had their choice of towels. I am happy to report the "wocky top" towel won out over Paw Patrol in the 2 to 4 year old demographic. Raise a child up in the way they should go...😁

You’re to be admired. I had the grandchildren over too. They (well, the almost 2 year old) wore my azz out. He touches everything at least 50 times and has to be guided away harmful things constantly. Whew. I was ready for a nap while he seemed to have new batteries added ever 5 minutes, but I loved every moment. Something different about grand babies.

Yeah I'd appreciate any info. We have a river lot and spend lots of time on the water but we are in west tn. I'd even be interested in paying for fuel and hanging with some vols fans all day. Anything would appreciated

What is the water like? I've use to big deep open river in west tn. I've been told some parts are very tricky over there

Agree 6 year old grand daughter in one bedroom asleep and one wild as hell 3 year old grandson asleep in another bedroom time for poppy to relax with a mixed one after long grueling day. The other grandson whose 8 went with his grandma to stay lol.
