I’m doing what I usually do and pick floor-ceiling on wins. So 7-11. 7 if a lot of injuries at key positions because we don’t have depth behind depth yet. And 11 because with AL and GA both on the schedule plus that depth thing it’s hard to imagine beating both in one year. So the average would be 9 is a really good season. But I never say we’re going to beat this team because in case y’all forgot…I am not over a PM led team losing to Memphis!

Repeat after me:

15-0 🤠

I feel good about the A&M game for three big reasons

It's in Neyland

We are coming off a bye and Heupel teams play extremely well after a bye. Even going back to UCF.

A&M will have just played Bama

Sets up beautifully for us

I’m going to that game. I’m bringing 4 Aggies with me. I’m really wanting to send them home very very disappointed. 😎

On the flip side, I also want A&M to be 11-1 in this regular season and meet us in the SEC championship game to end 11-2 as we’re
13-0. They manage to make the playoffs and beat whichever big 10 ish team and meet us in the championship game where their final record is cemented at 12-3. ( married to an Aggie, so I could easily go to those games if A&M makes it in, nefarious? 👍)

Meanwhile Tennessee is of course

15-0 🤠

But I thought the word was UGA didn’t give NIL deals upfront lol

"NIL has given some of our players -- and players in general -- the capacity to get probably faster [cars]," Smart said.

UGA's Smart: Speeding continues to be an issue

Smart trying look like he's doing something is the only reason he addressed it. Then this quote

"I'll be the first to admit we haven't solved that issue or problem," Smart told reporters during a news conference. "I don't honestly know that anybody has, but certainly for us, it's important to acknowledge it first. We've had a lot of intervention in terms of talking and visiting, and discipline measures have been implemented in terms of education. We'll continue to do that."

Who else has a problem with this, nobody that I'm aware. The best way to fix reoccurring issues on any team is take away playing time.

Every one of us contains a billion times more atoms than all the grains of sand in the earth’s deserts. If you weigh 150 pounds, you’ve got enough carbon to make 25 pounds of charcoal, enough salt to fill a saltshaker, enough chlorine to disinfect several backyard swimming pools, and enough iron to forge a 3-inch nail. But how did these elements combine to make us human?

From the book:
“What’s gotten into you “
By Dan Levitt

Don’t know why, but that paragraph cracked me up…thought I would share.

leave it alone. Crazy story, but we had a possum on our deck the night before the Alabama game last year. I went out to shoo it off with a broom stick and it hissed at me. By instinct I hit it with the broom stick. It flipped out and came at me. I beat that SOB down with a vengeance and killed the possum on my deck. He was not playing dead now, he was dead. We beat the gumps for the first time in 16 years. Next October..... I will find a possum to sacrifice for my VOLS. True story...

Opossums are an incredibly beneficial animal in the wild. They are walking garbage collectors/processors. The are almost completely, naturally immune to rabies. They are not aggressive. As a matter of fact, they are usually pretty tame and have been known to be captured and kept as pets. (Don't do this either.)

Moral of the story, stop chasing, beating, shooting them for no good damn reason. If you see them, even on your deck, give them a thumbs up and leave them alone. Unless you're a free range egg producer, coexist.

My dogs kept me up all night barking at a possum in the tree. It was taunting them on purpose, I swear. The tree was just on the other side of the fence and the possum climbs a limb just to the edge of the top of the fence. I got a video of it. Not nearly the size of that fatty in the picture though. I usually let the dogs in, but it wasn't hot or raining. . . I bet the possum has been coming over and eating their dog food at night.
