From what you've said she's been through the wringer. It has to have been exhausting mentally and emotionally as much as it has been physically. Just keep being you and give her all the love and support you can. Even the best of us get tired sometimes. Hopefully, she'll bounce back soon. I'm glad your dad has settled into a routine - that definitely helps.

OH is up and down. We had a pretty good week but today he's very confused about place in particular but other things too. He's trying to hide the fact that right now he clearly thinks I'm someone else (he keeps referring to "my name" thinks this or that like I'm someone else and he's telling me about me and what I thought about this or that). I'm hoping that this doesn't lead to anything else. Sometimes this happens and it gets really bad but sometimes he's able to snap out of it.

We've gotten a little better (I think/hope) at dealing with anxiety that comes along with the confusion. As long I can keep him from getting too upset about things we can usually wait things out. But it always makes me nervous when this happens. Ironically, the thing the poster who likes to trash talk me every chance he gets over has been something we've had a lot of fun with. I haven't been able to get him on a regiment yet (he's still prone to phases where he sleeps so much/stays drowsy or is just too confused to follow along) but we've had a lot of fun with me reading the text on screen for him and doing funny voices for the characters. I'm looking forward to getting him back to a cycle where he can be both awake and able to focus more but we're working with what we have.
Wow, I’m blessed with stuff here. Keeping him engaged in the stuff you’re involved with helps him to feel connected with you and life.
