If it's too good to be true.... Dang I got caught up in a scammer (at least I think they're a scammer). I found a listing on Mercari (used stuff) and the price was def. too good but I figured it was likely either 'hot' or some random just getting rid of stuff. At any rate, I'm talking to them and all is going well. They're like 'you got zelle? can afford it?' and I'm thinking it's a little weird they're messaging me so much but ok. Then they're like "I'm at Fedex now and shipping it" and suddenly showing me pics of their fedex store. And I'm like "hold up, how do you want to make sure I don't rip you off and you don't rip me off?" because at this point they're acting like they're shipping it right this instant and I've yet to pay them.

And I bring up, 'hey you want me to purchase the listing on mercari?' and they're like 'no, last time my stuff got damaged and mercari doesn't cover it so I don't use them... yaddda yadda..."

So I've yet to respond. I doubt I will because I can't see how this isn't a scam. Zelle is great but it doesn't offer fraud protection and the way they want to do this seems sketchy af. Am I overreacting?

Seems like a scam. I use paypal only, any time Im buying something not in person.

My old buddy Snuffy just passed away at 2:45...my old crusty heart is broken. He was the bestest boy.

In the last 2 months we have had 2 of our cats that just became missing. Never showed up back at our house. It sucks.

I tried, but YouTube tv recognizes a VPN is active and does not work. It looks like sling TV might work, but that's the only other that I can see.

I was just about to say this. YoutubeTV has VPN detection software.

What I do when I want to watch NFL out of market is VPN to Miami and watch live CBS feed on ParamountPlus. That’s only for CBS game of the week though. Not sure if ESPN would work? If not, yeah, check Sling or FuboTV or other streaming sites and see if they detect VPN or not.

It's my experience that youtubeTV is pretty attuned to VPNs. At least, they recognize the one I use when I use it.

Do they block it? I haven't actually done it with YTTV, although I have used that for other regional access 'issues'.

Ok got a question for you guys/gals that are Card collectors and need some help.

Have a nephew that is wanting to get into Baseball/Football Card Collecting.

As a kid I used to collect cards myself but haven’t bought cards in decades.

Can you guys give me let’s say Top 5 Boxes or brands to buy? Or what to look out for? What to stay away from?

I’m wanting to get him a couple boxes for his upcoming Bday. Maybe some boxes with Autos? Don’t care too much about pricing, but nothing crazy.

I'm not sure these days.

I collected years ago. . . one thing I did learn was that most card series have an upgraded version. I was buying all the regular ones, only to learn later that the valuable collector's cards were the upgraded version.

There usually isn't a big difference. Back then it was simply the color of the back of the card. Regular were a grayish color, good ones were white.

Just saying, whatever you choose to buy, make sure it's the collector's version. Sorry that I don't know what they call the upgraded version anymore, but shouldn't be difficult to find out.

It blocks it. I actually just recently tried this because I was going to VPN to Miami to watch preseason NFL and it blocked me.

I bet there is still a way around it, but I didn’t do much research into it.

Streameast, vipbox.to, tv247.us, firstrowsports
