As a mom of a child who had an IEP up until Junior year of high school (auditory/processing disorder) you have to do a big part of the work as a parent because you are correct, the schools are not equipped to deal with it, and even if they are, don’t do a bang up job imo.. we tried the private school route, but they would not accept her due to her diagnosis (we don’t have those resources).. it’s extremely frustrating because we (my family) have all of the money in the world but are powerless to do anything to help her with the exception of me helping her (a lot).. and getting various tutors when she struggles.. Sylvan, Huntington etc are for the birds

Its a lot of work.

I’m glad Sylvan worked for you, I just always felt fleeced and she never seemed to get anything from it 😂.. I pretty much just break down what they learned into smaller bites and bam! She’s got it! The state curriculum has gotten much more challenging then when I went through, so the math we farm out because I don’t know what the heck is going on and I’m a fairly bright person lol… I think everyone learns differently and they just don’t have the time to individualize.. I’m not sure what the answer is, but I am glad she is graduating this May because Mama’s tired

So...here's my predictions for next year...here we go:

UVA - W
Austin Peay - W
@ UF - W
UTSA - W
SCjr - W
TAMU - W
@bama - L
@UK - W
UCONN - W
@ Mizzou - W
UGA - W
Vandy - W

We will drop 3 next season... not sure which, but at least 3 at this point unless Milton takes huge strides and we pick up at least 3-4 experienced higher end players from the portal in positions of need. We won't be the same team as this season. Nothing wrong with this, as I believe in 2024 and beyond we move to the next level and become a top 5 team for years...

Haha, go read the SC boards and they are convinced all the players they lost were bad players and easily replaceable.
Any time you have multiple starters transfer, (especially the highest rated players) then you should be concerned. Their board reminds me of the Butch years when we all rationalized the obviously concerning signs.

I haven't kept up with their roster, so you think they are losing a lot of key players? Rattler will be back and a few others...

Jordan Burch (5 star edge) - 2nd on team in sacks & 3rd in total tackles
Rashad Amos (3 star RB)
Rodricus Fitten (3 star edge)
Gilber Edmond (4 star edge) - 1st on team in TFLs
Corey Rucker (3 star WR)
MarShawn Lloyd (4 star RB) - leading rusher this past season
Jordan Davis (3 star OT)
Tyrese Ross (3 star S)
Jaheim Bell (4 star TE) - 3rd in receptions on team
Joey Hunter (3 star CB)
Austin Stogner (3 star TE) - 6th in receptions on team
RJ Roderick (3 star S)

That's just the guys in the portal right now, gonna lose quite a few contributors to the draft and graduation as well.
