I have three wishes for next season.

Beat Florida in the Swamp. They were ass this year. They will probably be ass next year. A win in the Swamp to make it two in a row will effectively remove the Florida monkey from our backs for the foreseeable future, and it may lead to us starting a nice little streak against them.

Beat the absolute chickenshit out of the Gamecocks and Shane Beamer. No explanation necessary.

Joe Milton doesn't miss a beat from the Orange Bowl, and in fact, improves on his performance and there's never a doubt he's our starting QB.

2022 class was 17th composite overall on 247
2023 class is 9th composite overall on 247

how is that NOT improving the roster?

And 13 of the class are defensive players with a total of 5 being secondary players.

Yes Heup has definitely improved the roster--- I think what he means is, if there are quality upgrade DB's/CB's in the portal who can come in seasoned and help elevate our secondary play immediately, and he chooses not to go that route and gamble that the true frosh he has coming in will develop in time, then that will be on him if they don't and we continue to struggle in that area of the defense.

I agree completely--- I'd even say at this point, which I never thought I would, that I want to kick the 'ish out of Beamer next season most of all. I want us to be throwing bombs into the end zone with seconds left to play to hang as many points on the F'ers as possible. Keep first string in the entire game. Shut.Them.OUT.

Who were the halftime show performers? They were gawdawful. They were so bad.
Fitz and the Tantrums. They had a few fun songs some years ago, but saw them live this year, a co-show beside St Paul and the Broken Bones (soul music from a pudgey brit looking dude that's actually from the south...a must see show imo...the guy has PIPES) who absolutely killed it as always. But Fitz and the Tantrums were a major letdown. It just sounded really cheesy and overproduced live. And a band that tries too hard to force the crowd into it. They had the crowd of 30-50 year olds throwing up the "heart sign" like 21 year old soccer players and 16 year teeny boppers do. Cringey.

That all said, the girl can sing pretty darn well.

If I could just add beat Georgia in Neyland. We're playing them in our home. I want to take their souls.

I’m trying to kick my coffee addiction this year (I know I m ow, why would I do that?). It’s going poorly. Trying a shroom substitute coffee. Not the psychedelic two marijuana ones. Lions mane, reishi, etc. There’s a lot out there on the market.
Honestly, ya don't need it. Research says caffeine merely gets you back to your pre-caffeine days baseline. People taking in caffeine are then just stuck trying to get back to their original baseline, but it feels like a small rush to them, because deprived of the substance they're lower than usual.

I was drinking 4 or 5 cups a day years ago when I was working late shifts. I tried cold turkey and got bad headaches and felt worse than ever.

But, now years later, I don't need any at all and feel just fine. Just get good sleep. The rest is in your head. It will go away over time. Good nutrition and exercise will help too.
