So I'm in Arkansas on business having lunch with a coworker despite being a Bama fan is a good guy, so he's wearing a Bama hoodie, and we are leaving and someone from another table says Roll Tide, to which I respond Go Vols. It just felt good to be able to say that having not lost to them again.

You guys and gals that believe...I would greatly appreciate your prayers, I am in extreme pain, and have been for the last several days. I can't take pain killers because of my job and nothing else is touching it. This has been the worst stretch I have had in a while. I live in chronic pain, and I usually just grit my teeth and go on, but this is one of those times I just can't...it's starting to get to me.

All depends how "loose" the AI is.

If you could run this "self-advancing" AI in a closed loop - aka it has zero connection to the outside world and set to solve specific issues - it could conceivably find cures to cancer and anything else within a very short period of time. It could advance us at warp speed to help mankind.

It all comes down to the control of it. Like Asimov always envisioned - set immutable constraints on the system it can't reach, and reap the benefits. Don't...and yeah it could be total chaos.

If only everyone had the goal of helping mankind.

Terrible. The even worse part is I’ve seen worse roughing the passer calls than that this year. That’s how bad the state of roughing the passer calls are in the NFL right now.
