Hey VolsDoc81TX,
Wonder what you might know about qualifying for the Ispire sleep apnea implant. My wife got all the testing done, but she has been losing weight so she is down to like 130lbs 5'6.So with this weight loss it appears she is having fewer incidents where she stops breathing per hour. In previous sleep studies she was above the 15/hr min to qualify for inspire thru insurance. Now she is at 13. So she was denied. She is 42 and has dealt with sleep apnea the past 20 years, so is tired of being tired. She uses her CPAP, but that only helps out so much. She also has a larger than normal tongue as well. Appreciate anything you can pass along.

I think that since she’s essentially failing her CPAP, that should be a qualification as well. You should personally call the insurance and raise a little hades about the fact that she lost weight and they are now punishing her for it. Emphasis on not getting quality sleep with CPAP.
Ask her doc if they appealed the denial? Ask if they did a physician peer to peer review?

It should be an automatic felony. Dude's head hit the asphalt, couldve ended up brain dead (even moreso).

Getting out of the car should be an automatic felony or defending yourself like in this instance should be?

How long until dash cams are mandatory in America? Watch dash cam video on YouTube it’s wild how crazy some people get on the road. Chasing each other, brake checking, waving weapons. Everyone needs a dash cam.

Finally we can all agree on. You’ll change the narrative to make yourself coming out smelling like a month old cut rose. Cut, dead and stinking. Your wife is a saint. GOD love her. Sorry, I shouldn’t have capitalized GOD lest it offend anyone.

That’s the part I don’t care about 😉

She is a Saint and I know God loves her. I try to love her a fraction of how much He loves her.

My wife used to make a fried egg sammich on toast with American cheese and mayo. I could never get on board with that personally, but she loved em. She hasn't made one for herself in a while though.
As a kid my mom used to make us fried egg sandwiches with american cheese and ketchup on toast. Mmmm those were good. Been way too long since I’ve had one.

Not a fan of ketchup on eggs personally. However, unlike some of the condiment Nazis on here that try to tell people how to accessorize their food, I wish you the best with your sammich. Enjoy my friend.

Umm, he threw the first punch. The other guy defended himself and only threw one punch in response. Self- defense and stopped when the instigator went down. So no excessive force. Didn’t beat him on the ground. How could that possibly be a felony?
Got it, agreed. What I'm saying is, in a broader sense. And I dont know how it would be proven, if you knowingly participate by getting out of your vehicle to fight in a road rage event - that's the felony. Too many of these leave one party seriously injured. Roadways are owned by the State, or City. I'm sure they could come up with some bull hockey.

I sincerely doubt the law would agree.
Every human has the right to protect themselves. The tatted guy provoked the incident. He struck first while the other man blocked it. Then the tatted guy came for a second attempt. This is when the defender hit him. Then exhibited enormous restraint. The guy that was knocked out would be found guilty of assault. The other man would get nothing according to law. Insult to injury for the idiot that picked the fight. Not sure how yo are seeing this any other way Jack.

I sincerely doubt the law would agree.

More specifically, if the recipient has hit his head & been injured*
I think the law would agree…. Self defense just states that the person has to act reasonably… the other guy was the obvious aggressor/threw the first punch….now there may be more evidence that we don’t have knowledge that could change that verdict.

again, we were discussing if dude had been injured seriously, specifically a head trauma. but yes, you're right.

I don’t think a serious injury would change the self defense ruling…. No different than if you used a gun to protect yourself and ended up killing the other person…. It would be different if he climbed on top of the guy and started wailing on him but it was one punch. It seems like a very reasonable response to the other drivers aggressive behavior.

It's dangerous to stay in your car in a vulnerable position when someone is aggressively approaching and threatening. You want to just sit there, confined, while they pummel or stab you?

This doesnt look like that situation.

But yes, I see your point. This is why people carry, and, why so many of these end before they begin, and, also why I think laws need to be stiffer for those who choose to agress (done made up a new word).

Ketchup on hot dogs is acceptable for children. Grown-ups know mustard is the only true condiment for hot dogs.
Mustard looks like it shouldn't be for human consumption.

Ketchup is the GOAT. Hot dogs, hamburgers, even roast beef sammies, and yes if you ever are so unlucky to be presented with a low grade "pepper steak"...better hope you have some ketchup nearby if there's no A1. Also, ketchup and ranch is one hell of a combo that needs to be explored more.

Mustard ain't got that kind of range. Ketchup is in range as soon as it steps off the bus.

I remember the Alabama white BBQ sauce conversation from last off season. We are creatures of habit, and I am here for it.

Alabama White BBQ sauce is not the best bbq sauce there is, and I’ll take many BBQ over it, but it’s still okay in my book. Smoked Chicken Wings with it are 👌🏻
Yes it is. There's a place here called Daddy Mac's that serves their wings with that sauce and it is legit.

LoL yeah the fix was in aliens took JFK to the dark side of the moon where him and Tupac play pickleball to determine who wins the Super Bowl.
I didn't say the fix was in Saturday...I do believe games are manipulated sometimes, if you don't...then you're blind.

My point was...the way refs call a game often badly effects teams on BOTH ends of the floor. The Arizona game was called badly and so was the UK game....crooked or nor, they screwed the team over.
