I agree with this take. Elite safety play makes the CBs look better. You could have ths best CBs in football and with terrible safety play they'll look bad. Flowers and McCullough have been great ambassadors for the program but safety should be vastly improved this year with Flowers gone and JM being a rotational guy. Turrentine, Walker, Thomas, and maybe Charles I hope get snaps ahead of JM.I blame safety play more than the corners last year. Corners had a ton of injuries and it was amazing how much better they got once slaughter took over.
dated a girl for a spell who lived in gilette. DT, Spearfish, and the Bighorns. Its a lot like WV, probably was 40-50 years ago.We did a very similar trip.
In about 15 days we did:
Yellowstone
Crater Lake
Highway 1 down to Redwoods
Continued down Highway 1 to San Francisco for 2 nights at a hotel to relax and clean up after only camping for days.
Jerry Garcia died on our way and we landed in San Fran the day of his memorial at Golden Gate Park.
Haight-Ashbury and Golden Gate Park looked exactly like I imagined they did in the 60s. Packed with hippies in psychedelic school buses from all over.
Then on to more camping at Big Sur, Yosemite, Sequoias and Grand Canyon.
On another trip to Yellowstone someone recommended we take Beartooth Pass to the north, which was an amazing drive and which led us to visit Mount Rushmore and Devil's Tower at like midnight and 3 AM under a full moon since we had like 36 hours to get back to Knoxville
I was on a flight from Dallas to either Spokane or Missoula once and looked out the window, "Holy smokes.... that looks like the Tetons!?" I'd never seen them before. The Tetons are magnetic...you can't stop looking at them from anywhere you are in the 50 mile long valley. The dramatic rise of the Tetons from the wide flat valley and the beautifully jagged, yet almost perfectly somehow symmetrical ridgeline is just...magnetic.

There was someone on here the other day saying Mincey wasn't real happy. Which I think is plausible. Just hope he sticks around because he's a snap away from being the full-timer and we're gonna need him. Most interesting takeaway for me from the depth chart (albeit somewhat meaningless) is Mincey listed as a backup at LT to Campbell but not at least a Co-Starter with Crawford at RT. I think Crawford is serviceable and one tough hombre, but a lot of folks were talking Mincey up as having next-level physical tools and aspirations. Wonder what’s going on with him. I know RT and LT are a little different skill set, but I am surprised.
Even though the numbers are different, I know something about this. My daughter-in-law is 10 years older than my son and used to work for me. (That’s where she met him when he volunteered to help me, I had no clue). When William finally came clean on both, I had to take a huge step back. Not going into the backstory here, but I kept a close eye and didn’t say anything. I always prayed that G_D would let him be happy and for me to support him. G_D answered that prayer. I have two beautiful grandchildren. I know two totally different scenarios, but I know somewhat how you feel.
Jonathan Wade days until kickoff… one of my favorites growing up, playing alongside my all time fav, Jason Allen.
