Looks like Vol coaches love what they have in Emmanual Moseley. Just read the GoVols247, and they say that if Moseley keeps up the great work, he will be playing on Sundays. Blair has been making huge progress in Lawson's Summer strength program, as well. He was already a big guy, but came in out of shape. The way one UT source said it, it's amazing how much tougher the guy looks now that he is in good shape. Now we just got to see what he's got. At 6'8" over 300lbs and in shape, hopefully he will be a monster of a protector for whoever has the ball for the "big orange." Also, definitely was awesome to get Weatherd qualified. He has looked just as good as the coaches thought he would. Our linebacker speed got even faster. This is definitely great news for this season! I always drink the Orange Koolaid and I think 8 wins, maybe even 9, with the bowl game is very attainable for this team. Those 5 games mentioned above, plus we have a chance to beat Florida, Missouri, Ole Miss, Georgia, and USCe. Even if we just win 2 of those, that is 7 wins plus a bowl. This year might not be as bad as some think. My prediction is at least 7 regular season wins with a great shot at 8! VFL, period!

the charlotte sports foundation announced tuesday that tennessee will open its 2018 season on sept. 1 against west virginia at bank of america stadium in charlotte, n.c., home of the nfl's carolina panthers.
"we are excited to formally announce our game with west virginia in charlotte, north carolina in 2018," tennessee athletic director dave hart said. "will webb and his staff manage a first-class operation. Playing in this venue and in a key recruiting footprint was very appealing to us. The respective fan bases will create an electric atmosphere."
all information related to kickoff date, time and tickets will be announced at a later date. It will be the first meeting between the two schools in football and tennessee's first-ever game in charlotte.
The game in 2018 will mark the third neutral-site game in a four-year span for the vols. Tennessee opens the 2015 season at lp field in nashville, tenn., against uab on sept. 5, and the "battle at bristol" at bristol motor speedway will feature the vols against virginia tech on sept. 10, 2016.
"the game in charlotte presents a tremendous opportunity for our football program to play against a quality opponent in west virginia in a first-class nfl venue," tennessee coach butch jones said. "the charlotte area is in close proximity to many of our fans, and the state of north carolina is a key component in our recruiting efforts. We very much look forward to such a unique opportunity for our student-athletes and our program."
