Who are some of the Gators big offensive threats? WR? RB? Lord knows I know about their mouthy defensive players just not their offensive players.
Since we are in this type discussion - several of us watching the UT/USU game predicted that Chuckie Keeton would not make it to mid-season before his repaired knee would go out the way he was favoring it and limping. It happened in the second quarter against Wake Forest a couple of weeks later. Done for the season and hurting his chances of making the NFL unless he can get a medical RS, which he may be eligible to receive since he had not RS'd.
If you are a head coach and know that a player has not fully healed, don't play the guy until he is. It's somebody's life and potential career you are messing with. I admire Butch and staff for taking the high road on this. If an injury is minor and the guy can play through it (Croom) that's one thing. Totally something else when it is what Smith and Pearson are dealing with now. Although Jake should also focus on not calling the guy's number when a crucial play is needed. He needs to remember to go to the healthy playmakers.
Ok. Thanks.
This Robinson, is he as good as North or any of our other WR's?
I remember Debose from last year.
IMO, its close, but no.
D-Rob is good though. Runs good routes and the kid has some moves. Once he finds a crease, he turns on another gear. Roper really utilizes him. You'll see him run a slant pattern, stem, 9 route, and he'll probably run some double moves against Cam. He is easily Driskell's favorite target.
The only problem is.... #6 is the dude slinging the ball.
Hopefully we will be prepared for those plays. I'm sure Butch and the team has watched a lot of film on this. I think the D will do fine though because they're very disciplined.
